“I had a thought” is a wood sculpture of a rib cage with a heart made with pieces of broken red glass at its center that illuminate with lights. The piece started as a random thought on a kayak on the ocean, but as its complexities developed to its final form, it connected to things happening to my life. That story is written along the ribs of the ribcage.
